In September 2018, Chi. Jyothi, 10th Class, from Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampalli was selected for Zonal Level Yoga Competitions. She is now eligible for State Level Yoga Competition. It is indeed a great achievement. Jeeyar Gurukulam is a school for tribals, situated in the remote forests of Allampalli.
Actually, two Jeeyar Gurukulams were established in the remote forests of Adilabad District, Telangana – one in Allampalli and another in Beersaipeta to provide good education to these kids, so they are in the main stream of the society!
